6. Satan's thrust in the Angelic Conflict is to try and show that God lied about His Essence in some way.

7. So he put into operation his plan which is called "evil:" 1 Jn 5:19 = the Evil One cf 2 Cor 2:11 = not ignorant of his schemes

a. Evil 1 is the title of Satan's plan which is designed to disrupt the Essence of God and distort Grace.

b. Evil 2 is defined as the THOUGHT PROCESS OF EVIL which is in direct contrast with thinking Bible Doctrine - truth:

1) This is spread by demons and men under their influence. 1 Tm 4:1

2) It is initiated by the sin nature being in rulership. Rom. 6:12; Gal 5:17

3) It stems from negative volition in man's soul. Mt 6:23; Lk 11:34-35

4) It rationalizes itself. Isa 5:20

5) It leads to more evil. Rom 1:30 = inventors of evil Prov 6:12-14

6) It often attempts to build one's happiness on other's unhappiness Ps 35:12-17

7) It is closely tied to arrogance of action. Prov 8:13

8) The Believer is to remove this human viewpoint from his soul, his thinking.

c. Evil 3 is defined as HUMAN GOOD:

1) This seeks the blessing of God apart from His way.

2) If we're not empowered by the Holy Spirit and applying the illuminated word, our production in life is human good. cf 1 Cor 13:1-3; Col. 3:1-3; Rom 8:6

3) Human good is a counterfeit of Divine Good Production that is self-serving and not Christ oriented. Mt 6:1-5 [motivation]

4) It deviates from the Established Straight and Narrow, via actions that would otherwise be construed as "good."
