3. "days yet future" indicate it
covers a long period of time.

Again Daniel is strengthened as the angel ministered to him; 10:15-21
"turned my face toward the ground and became
speechless"
It is from
this book that we learn that God has a plan and purpose for man, for the
nations, for
the earth, for time and eternity.
The decree of God, the plans of God are truth, they are a
reality and they shall unfailingly come to pass.
His veracity,
truthfulness guarantees it.
Daniel Chapter 11
From Darius to the Time of the End
11:1 Parenthesis;
The angel
speaking recalls an incident in the first year of M-P rule.
Historical

Beginning with vs:2 = section deals with history of
the 2nd and 3rd empires; runs from vs:2-35. Future for Daniel - past for us!
The second
half of the chapter deals with history in the "latter days" the time
of the "Revived Roman empire" when it is
ruled by GWD. Still future even for us
today!

His rule is not passed to his descendants (is the common practice at the time -
very unusual); given to others.

The empire is broken up and parceled out to the four points of the compass.
